Okami Pest Control is a small, one person business with two goals in mind: bridge back the gap between pest control operator and customer and eliminate the indiscriminate killing that comes with the use of bait poisons. The result is a pest control business that won't let contracts drag on, and that you can feel confident is environmentally friendly. 

Okami was founded with the idea that too many pest control companies thrive on a subscription model that wastes hundreds, if not thousands of the customers' dollars. Companies force you into subscriptions you don't actually need, paying for services that are never carried out.

Have you wondered how companies came up with an estimate of 10 gophers in your landscaping before even setting a trap? It's an educated guess but no one knows for sure. Why pay for gophers that may not exist? 10 gophers would mean a lot of pesticides on your property. Avoid the poisons and only pay for the critters we actually catch. Similar to other landscape trapping companies there's a trap installation fee due at the end of the first visit to your property of $150-$200 (based on location) with one critter included. Additional critters are $50 each. The number of traps set will be at the discretion of the operator. If you've a great number of critters to address then Okami is usually willing to workout something that benefits both parties. Sometimes it's in your best interest to go with a bigger company. For reasons such as these phone consultations are free.

Okami has a strict no-poison baits policy. Poison baits are easy for the pest control company but hard on the environment, with the poison working its way up the food chain to animals such as hawks, coyotes, and even house pets. We use steel traps that target and humanely kill moles, gophers, voles and rats. Check back next spring for nuisance trapping services as well.
